Resin tint, pinline, gloss & polish via Moonlight Glassing. 9’6” x 23” x 3” single fin, features limited edition Surfy Surfy logos by Shelby Ling. Retail value $1,000 and is generously donated by Surfy Surfy. It’s the perfect log for just about any Leucadia break on any given day. Mike Slingerland has been handcrafting surfboards in town “since forever” and happens to be Surfy Surfy’s special projects guru who can build you the custom board of your dreams.
We’ll be pulling the raffle around 6 PM. You don’t have to be there to win and raffle tickets cost $3 for 5, $10 for 10 and $20 for a full wingspan length.
Surfy Surfy has been a long time supporter of Summer Fun. Now in it’s 9th year in Leucadia, the surf shop, with Coffee Coffee adjacent, is a town square of sorts for neighbors wanting to get their caffeine fix and talk surf. Owner J.P. St Pierre specializes in local surf history and dry wit. The shop offers all hand crafted boards, with an emphasis on Campbell Brothers Bonzers, local legend Gary Hanel’s shapes and Mike Slingerland’s customs.
Summer Fun on the 101 is incredibly grateful to be sponsored by local surf shops Surfy Surfy and Bing. The two shops coexist peacefully in our surf-crazed town, often sending each other business when a customer’s needs fall within another surf shop’s special niche. Bing is an iconic brand that has existed since 1959 and offers gorgeous long boards and many other modern retro designs.
