Meet Neso Tents!
We would like to welcome Neso Tents to the Leucadia 101 family! We stepped into their brand spanking new space on the 101 last week to ask them a few questions. Read below for the owner's answers!
1. How did NESO get started?
Matt Goldberg started Neso in 2015 with some friends and a passion for enjoying the outdoors while staying protected from the sun. As a nature lover and melanoma survivor, Matt knew there was a better solution than the traditional umbrella or popup tent to stay shaded outside. From there, Neso has extended our product offering to include chairs, accessories, and more to come.
2. What elements define NESO? Where do you find inspiration?
Neso is define by innovative, lightweight, portable and sleek simple styling. We find inspiration outdoors!
3. What is important to you in running NESO?
We want to be able to live the Leucadia lifestyle while providing the best beach products available to people around the world.
4. Why did you decide to open up shop in Leucadia? What’s your favorite part about being apart of Leucadia? What’s different about working in Leucadia?
Our families live and play in Leucadia. As a beach company, being close to one of our favorite beaches, Beacons Beach, is ideal. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Leucadia has a vibrant entrepreneurial community with plenty to do while not working.
5. Perfect day and/or evening out in Leucadia?
We drop off our daughter at school, head to the shop/office to work. Mid-morning power meetings are great at Coffee Coffee. Get a quick afternoon workout, surf, or head to the rock climbing gym. Then off to dinner at one of our favorite spots - Fish 101, Chiko's or Birdseye.
