Luna Bay was born out of a desire to make a change in the alcohol industry – to brew something better for ourselves, our minds, our planet. From that desire, they created a naturally brewed hard kombucha with wholesome, ethically sourced ingredients.
Luna Bay was started by a team of women passionate about wellness, adventure, community and fun – and plan to spread those values through simple, honest, boozy booch. They were the first of its kind to be produced and distributed in Chicago. And now they are proudly on shelf coast-to-coast. All products are gluten free, low in sugar, vegan and naturally fermented to 6% for a boozy bite.
The first and only female founded, female run hard kombucha company in the United States. Luna Bay has built a team and community of people who share a united goal of creating exceptional products, contributing to health-minded initiatives, and using their products and people to bring communities together.

Our CEO, Bridget Connelly, has lived in San Diego for a decade though she's called Leucadia home for the last few years! She actually lived here when she was dreaming up Luna Bay from concept to can. Luna Bay's sales rep, Sofia Wilson, is from San Diego and also lives in Leucadia. The best place to be!
Have you worked in the brewing industry before?
Our sales rep, Sofia, grew up in the restaurant and bar industry making the transition to Luna Bay last year!
What inspires you to work for Luna Bay?
"What drew me to the company is it is female founded. Once trying Luna Bay I was sold! We are a small but mighty team- a family really. We strive to create a product that is truly good for you. Luna Bay Light lands in San Diego in February. It's a delicious Lychee Lime flavor at a 4.5% ABV with only 110 cals, 0 carbs and 0 sugar. Because who doesn't love a healthy boozy booch?!
